Erick began his journey at HQ as the first-ever Remittance Associate, dedicated to optimizing financial operations for HQ's client, Nabis. From day one, he was eager to learn and committed to delivering high-quality service. With no other HQ employees in this area, Erick felt a strong responsibility to show that HQ staff could not just meet but exceed expectations.
It wasn't long before Erick's potential and hard work caught the eye of his peers and supervisors. He was quickly promoted to tackle larger projects and manage more challenging clients—exactly the kind of challenge he had been looking for. Erick embraced these new opportunities, managing them with enthusiasm and efficiency. As the volume of work grew, he saw a need for process improvements and took the lead in developing new strategies and workflows to handle the workload more effectively. His rapid achievements encouraged Nabis to bring more HQ talent onto the team.
Soon, Erick found himself managing key clients and onboarding new team members. In less than a year, the HQ team was providing full services for the Remittances team, which was later rebranded as the Brand Payments team and led by his colleague Alejandro Ceja.
Together, Erick and Alejandro quickly became a strong team, continuously moving the department forward. Their close collaboration and mutual trust allowed Erick to take on more supervisory duties, with Marielle Arias stepping up to take over his previous responsibilities. This period was pivotal for Erick's growth as a leader, as he guided and supported the team.
When Alejandro shifted focus to other HQ clients, Erick was promoted to Brand Payments Team Leader. He then worked closely with Eugenio Lopez, the Accounting Operations Team Lead, and Dante Maese, the Cash Application Team Lead. With their combined efforts, all three teams, now fully staffed by HQ personnel, were recognized for their exceptional performance.
By the time Erick became a Team Leader, he had only been with the company for 1 year and 3 months. In that short time, he transitioned from being the first-ever HQ employee in the area to building and leading a strong team ready to tackle new challenges.
As Team Leader, Erick has continued to perform at a high level, always pushing for more efficient workflows and breaking down barriers. He played a key role in launching Nabis's Accounting Services, making it easier to respond to client needs and leading the expansion into new markets, such as New York.
Erick's team's dedication and hard work have been crucial to these achievements, and there is no doubt they will continue to push our team to new heights!
