HQ’s Sales Ops team has been working with GTI’s Massachusetts branch for the past five months, mainly assisting them with order creation. Moving forward, they will offer the same services to their New York and Nevada branches, which could possibly expand to other additional value-add services in the foreseeable future. This is a huge win for the team!
As you know, Nevada's cannabis market is more established, but New York's cannabis market is in a rapid growth phase, especially since the legalization of adult-use cannabis in 2021. As of July 2024, the market experienced a staggering year-over-year sales growth of 279.7%, with total sales reaching approximately $60.38 million. This growth rate significantly outpaces more mature markets like California and Colorado, making New York a potentially lucrative state for cannabis businesses.
Apart from expanding our services on the Sales Ops side to these new markets, the team will also be supporting GTI by evaluating a new tool our client created for order entry. The team’s goal is to evaluate whether the tool allows for the most efficient workflow e.g. is it user-friendly, time and cost efficient, and robust, or if it can be improved or replaced by something even better?
