We are proud to announce that Marco Pizano is joining HQ this week in a new finance manager position. Marco spent the first 5 years of his career at Deloitte, where he advanced to a Senior Auditor position. Having worked at Deloitte, he quickly understood the Headquarters business model and value proposition. More recently, Marco was a financial executive at Proper Technologies, an accounting services company. As a VP of Delivery @ Proper, he helped streamline financial functions, implemented automation solutions and increased services uptakes for the company’s biggest clients.

Marco will be focused on working closely with our large, staffed finance organization, specifically those who service Kiva, Nabis, Eaze. We expect Marco will help us tie the inputs (our hours at HQ) to the outcomes (the deliverables we provide to these clients). From there, his mandate will be to focus on how we can standardize some of those deliverables and ensure that our HQ team is being developed and deployed in the most effective way.

In his first 90 days, Marco will work closely with those teams to understand the work product we are delivering. He will also be spending time getting to know our entire staffed finance team. As he builds a firm understanding of the work we do for these clients & the team we have working there, he will transition into a line management role for these teams.

As Marco joins the HQ family, he may be reaching out to understand how we work with our clients. He is covered under the same NDAs as the entire HQ org, so please share freely with him as he comes on board. We are excited for him to join and are looking forward to his support in building a more scalable and structured organization for our continued growth.
