We are proud to announce that Jose Manuel Reyes Fernandez will be joining our Human Resources team on August 14th as our new HR Business Partner. Jose is an experienced HR professional who resides in Guadalajara with a BA in Business Administration & Strategy from Tecnológico de Monterrey. He began his career journey at British American Tobacco as an HRBP for their Pacific Region, supporting the company with talent acquisition and onboarding, administration and talent management. He continued to develop his knowledge of HR at Ignixon, as an HR Project Manager and Business Leader, and helped design trainings, specifically tailored to senior management. In his most recent role as an HR Director at Alquimia, he developed and executed HR strategies which helped increase the annual profitability margin by 5%.

As our new HRBP, Jose will dedicate his time to supporting our people as they continue to drive value to our clients, and help align HR strategies to those of our companies, so we can continue to scale and become the best service provider in the cannabis industry!

In his first three months at HQ he will be focused on meeting the entire team and building a deep understanding of all the HR & People Management systems and processes we have in place. From there we expect him to build on the work our HR team has completed in the 1st half of the year, expanding things like the HQ Hub. Finally, we expect Jose to tap his training & leadership development background to help develop the resources to facilitate the continued growth and development of our team!
